Choose a frequency and start at low volume. Sweep gradually rather than jumping to extreme levels. Audible response depends on headphones, hearing, room acoustics and output hardware.
A browser tone generator does not create a calibrated headphone frequency-response graph. It is a listening and fault-finding tool.
