What latency means
Audio latency is the delay between an event and the sound reaching you. Bluetooth codecs, operating-system buffering, browser scheduling and the audio device all contribute.
Headphone latency calibration
Start the animation, then move the offset slider until the impact flash and the short beep feel perfectly simultaneous. The selected offset is your perceived headphone latency.
Tip: keep your eyes on the impact point rather than the slider. Move in large steps first, then fine-tune in 5 ms increments.
A good test should not stop at a score. Use these practical checks to understand what the browser measured, what can affect the result, and what to change before your next call, stream or gaming session.

Browser timing is useful for comparisons on the same device but is not a substitute for loopback hardware measurement.
